All students have the right to:

• Attend school without fear of immigration enforcement

• Enroll in school without providing citizenship or immigration documents

• Receive equal access to all programs and services

• Learn in a safe, peaceful, and discrimination‑free environment

These rights are protected by the U.S. Constitution, California Constitution, and state and federal civil rights laws.

To protect student privacy and comply with state law, our school does NOT:

• Request or collect immigration status information

• Require Social Security numbers for enrollment

• Ask for citizenship documents

• Require passports, visas, or immigration papers

• Use national origin data for anything other than required federal reporting

Families may provide any acceptable proof of residency or age, including documents that do not reveal immigration status.

Under California law, we cannot share any student, family, or employee information with immigration enforcement unless the officer presents a:

• Valid judicial warrant

• Judicial subpoena

• Court order

This includes:

• Addresses

• Phone numbers

• Emergency contacts

• Schedules

• Personal information

• Education records

Our staff are trained to follow strict verification procedures before responding to any request.

Effective January 1, 2026:

• Immigration enforcement officers cannot enter nonpublic areas of a schoolsite without a valid judicial warrant, subpoena, or court order

• Staff must request identification and verify documents

• Schools may consult legal counsel before responding

• No officer may access students without proper legal authority

Your child’s safety is our priority.

Our school will:

• Follow your emergency contact information

• Ensure your child is released only to approved adults

• Provide emotional and academic support

• Connect families with community resources

Families are encouraged to keep multiple emergency contacts updated at all times.

We strictly prohibit bullying, harassment, or discrimination based on:

• National origin

• Ethnicity

• Immigration status

• Language

• Religion

Students and families can report concerns confidentially, and the school will respond promptly.
