STEAM

Mission Statement
The Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) Program prepares students for success in the real world through an interdisciplinary, project-based approach to education. STEAM students learn specialized skills while expanding their ability to communicate effectively and think critically and creatively.

ECR STEAM is STEAM for ALL Students
In an increasingly connected world, where colleges and employers value multiple skills such as communication, creativity, and critical thinking, STEAM provides an avenue to integrate these areas in a meaningful curriculum.

The STEAM Program at ECR is designed to be open and accessible for all students. By taking courses within a STEAM pathway, students graduate with a specialization similar to choosing a major in college. The pathways are as follows:

  • Computer Science
  • Engineering
  • Medical Sciences

Program Requirements

A-G Students are required to complete A-G courses for college enrollment. Specialization: Students must complete four courses from a selected STEAM Pathway. STEAM Club Students are required to participate in cohort-level activities through STEAM Club

Students may take courses at the level that’s right for them (College Prep, Honors, AP). There is no application process. All students are welcome. You may register into the program during class enrollment with counselors.
